Paul as a missionary and pastor shape my perspective on the gospel by opening my eyes that the gospel is the same today and is need just as much or even more. Just has Christ used Paul to preach the gospel and Paul did not divert from it, He want us to do the same. It is the power of God unto salvation to every human. It was so amazing to read that even the cows in Nineveh repented that is powerful.

He knew that he would have to suffer with Jesus for the Gospel. How this dimension of suffering is related to the missionary and the pastor Paul it’s quite important for us to realize in this world. The links between Jonah and Paul are also linked to the office of missionary and caring for the souls. The missionary dimension is a Point that Jesus stressed clearly when he said he came to find and save sinners, people who were lost. And then he says in John as the Father sent me I also send you. So when He sends us to bring the good news, sometimes we do not know where he will send us, even maybe to people we don’t like very much or naturally prefer … or that will reject the message, even want to kill the messenger. Here we see very clearly that Paul never forgets that he is the number one singer, having persecuted the church of Christ, and since God has forgiven him, he cannot but forgive those who repent. So this is also a very important part of being a pastor…

As it was said during the lecture, there’s nothing better than Gospel. Gospel is a good news and if it’s a good news, it’s probably because the environment we are presently living in sounds not very good, especially now that we hear that there is war with Russia and Ukraine. But still looking at Paul’s perspective is very much interesting because even in horrible situations like war, we can have Hope because of the church. As ambassadors of Christ every member of the church is not only proclaiming the truth, but also doing it with love demonstrating the reality of the Gospel message. So the pastoral Paul is very much interesting because actually he is the imitator of Jesus, who uses very much the image of a pastor like David did before in the songs. And when we see the excitement of Paul to take the message to the end of the world, we feel like imitating him just like he himself says is imitating Christ who considered the people following His as sheep without shepherd.
