When you consider your audience, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit, how do you choose topics about which to preach or teach?

When I consider my audience, the Bible and Holy Spirit, I choose my topics by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead me. I want to make it encouraging, uplifting and interesting. I don’t consider myself a preacher but I teach the word as the Holy Spirit leads me to different topics.
My audience is of older people and maybe sometimes of people who don’t know the Lord. But I let the Holy Spirit lead me.
The topic is usually one that I’ve recently experienced myself or am going through or the Lord will just show me. I never know what God will lead me to share. That’s what makes teaching Gods Word exciting!
