If God was not eternal then we would not be eternal. If we were not eternal then what is the point of living, especially we are all just going to die and not exist.

He then offers us the eternal life of the future, which is both quality and life that does not cease to be given to us by God Himself.” What is the significance of God being eternal and not being caused by anything? How does this relate to the immortality of the human?
