In this lesson, you will dig into the passages on the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit and further explore how choosing to let the Spirit empower you leads to spiritual fruit.

When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:

• Explain the structure of the works of the flesh and fruit of the Spirit passages in Galatians 5.
• Identify what Paul teaches us in the works of the flesh passage.
• Describe briefly each fruit of the Spirit.
• Explain how believers experience the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.
