Reflection Questions
Review the following questions and write down your answers in your own Course Workbook.
- Review: Read through the Mindset of the two Styles that best describes you and list the ideal world in which you would like to function. Then identify what frustrates people like you the most when relating to others different from yourself.
- Reflect: Describe the mindset of a person very different than you and how these differences lead to conflict and frustration in your relationship.
- Respond: Now that you have discovered that other people are often wired differently than you – how is that going to help you understand their behavior and how could you communicate constructively to motivate them? Identify someone that understood your mindset and related to you accordingly.
- Resolve: Often we take negative feedback very personally. Can you make a commitment to first seek to understand other people’s mindset and needs before reacting negatively to how they initiate or react towards you? Write out this commitment in a sentence in your own words.
