there would be no other way if God wanted to make sure no human could dispute it. This is why God made sure the number of soldiers Gideon could use were 300 not thousands. He wanted to make sure we humans would know the victory was due to Him and Him alone. With the number of soldiers so small, a victory without God would be impossible whereas it could be possible if they numbered in the thousands and out numbered their enemy.

God could have accomplished these ends any way he would have liked. However, the virgin birth fulfilled the Old Testament Prophecies. God accomplished what He said he would the way it was said that He would.

God could have achieved these ends in a different way. God would have allowed His son to descend from Heaven as a human, he would have still been sinless. However, it would not have fulfilled scripture or allowed the son of God to have the human experience.

God could have created a child in anyway he would like. He created Adam and Eve without our “normal” biological process. He created Jesus in this way so that he could experience life in the same way that we all have.

God is able to finish anything by choosing any methods he want without doing sins because he is a Creator of everything.

So that no one could argue or deny that Jesus is the Son of God since this would be an impossible feat without God making it so.

I believe the arrival and conception of Jesus, was the same as his death. The only way he was created was through the hand of God. A young virgin was now pregnant, and had the touch of God laid on her and her life. He was born as human, in a human manner. There was only a manger in a stable, that was not the way a normal king would have been born. He however was not a normal king! He lived his life as a carpenter, he showed no outward appearances of a king. He was to be seen as a normal human, he just had extraordinary jobs to complete.

I feel as though God’s purpose for Jesus being born of a virgin and experiencing life as a human man was done partly for us. Though it fulfilled prophecy, it also helped humans to relate to Jesus. Jesus was of human flesh and so he had some shared experiences with the people around Him. Though He was sinless, I believe He gained trust and relationship because He was presented as a human man.

The virgin birth of Jesus, being GOD’s son not tracing back to be ADAM’s son, means that God truly entered the world sinless and starting a new creation (cycle). This was God’s purpose.
In addition, having his son born and humbling himself within humanity was in fulfillment of scripture and part of His rescue plan for us.

He wanted to have God/Jesus experience life as a human in the same way that we do.

Human biology tells us that a virgin birth isn’t possible. God tells us that it is. The virgin birth represents the amazing supernatural power of God. The power that only God has.

If you are old enough to be registered in this course, you understand the human biology facts that go into conception. 🙂
Science has shown us God’s plan for family and life, requiring biological information from both a human male and female.
The virgin birth departures from this idea completely as it does not require the biological information from a male and female in order to create life.

The virgin birth seems impossible to people because it is not possible without God.
