The format was easy to follow and use.

I really liked this course, especially the videos. I printed each transcript and followed along with the videos so I could underline and take notes right on the transcript. I appreciate having them to look back at.

This course re-kindled what I have always known in my heart. I belong in Christian Education. I am called to teach and called to teach in this place and time. I enjoyed every lecture: clear, concise and relevant. Thank you for taking the time to create these courses for us.

While I appreciate the reasoning behind the quizes, I thought some of the questions were worded oddly. I am at home with covid and my brain isn't maybe functioning at its best, but I had to read some of them several times to understand what it was asking. I enjoyed the instructors personal stories and the biblical reflections.

This was a great course that helped to give me a new perspective on Christian Philosophy of Education. The lessons were manageable and thoughtful.

I have a lot of new ideas. Very intriguing.

The lectures were written in such a way that they are easy to understand, not lengthy, and based mostly on the lecturer's experiences. However, it would be nice to also include a more structured and content based lectures in the lessons. The quizzes were easy and short, it emphasizes more on application and understanding of the lectures which is nice, however some of the answer options seems to be quite confusing as it was not clear. I also had a hard time purchasing the required textbook, as it is not available in my country and very limited places sell them. I would suggest making them available online so people like me who resides outside of US can purchase them through ODBU instead.

I am blown away by the content presented by Dr. Black and have been thoroughly blessed to take part in this course. Often I found myself yelling out, "Amen!" and "Yes, girl!". I am encouraged and inspired by this study.

Great course. I learned plenty of interesting biblical facts I can carry on to my students and others. Dr. Black is an amazing lecturer.

I really enjoyed this course. It was encouraging, challenging, and motivating. It gave me a lot of practical ways to improve the way I teach.

This class is well organized and well put together. Ellen, the instructor did a great job relaying the information about teaching in a Christian school. There is a flow to the lessons along with depth of information. I appreciate all the different layers that were taught.

I love how you have the transcript of the videos. My husband is recovering from a serious medical issue. I am really not able to leave him, so in lieu of watching some of the videos, I could just read the transcripts. I did enjoy the speaker of the videos though!

I enjoyed the course and the readings. In comparing the three texts each offered a different approach to the content but were surprisingly consistent in that area. I preferred Teaching Redemptively

I really enjoyed the flexibility of completing it on my own time and not losing progress if I needed to pause a video or watch a video and then review my notes to do the journal the next day. I also enjoyed the videos, they kept me engaged and made it really easy to write the paper.

The videos were very interesting to watch, with lots of good information. I highly recommend the book BY DESIGN by Martha MacCullough, as it helped me form my Christian Philosophy of Education specifically and thoroughly. I am a better School Counselor and parent for having taken this course.

I thought the ability to read the transcripts during the lectures was very helpful! My biggest weakness in learning is auditory, so to be able to read it for myself made a huge difference for me!

I appreciated the way the course was split up into short and manageable sections. With the short video lessons, the interactive discussion, and the quiz, this gave me an opportunity to study and learn without feeling overwhelmed.

I absolutely loved this course. The lectures are short, but meaningful. I really enjoy the visuals that are given with each lecture as well as the text so I can read along with the video. The directions for the CPoE paper were very helpful and clear.

I chose to read the lectures. I really appreciated that function. However, I felt like the professor could have covered the objectives a littl more clearly. Her passion was obvious, and I appreciated that.
