What does it mean to not only talk with God, but also to be with Him when we pray?

Deleted User03/17/2022 at 12:33Prayer is about more than requests and demands. It’s also about listening to God and taking the time to allow Him to show us things that we otherwise would not see.

Deleted User02/23/2022 at 16:32I like to think that when I pray that God sits right beside me like a physical friend when I talk to Him and I sit with Him as if to wait and hear what He has to say to me as well when I ask a question or make a request. I do not audibly hear Him but sometimes just sit with Him and wait in His presence knowing He is with me and I with Him. So to me that is no only talking to Him but being with Him.

Deleted User01/09/2022 at 19:25When we are in prayer, we are not just talking to Him. For a relationship to truly develop, we do talk, but we also listen, rest in and lean on Him.. Being fully aware of His presence.

Deleted User12/31/2021 at 15:28When we Pray we are not only talking with God we are having a relational private and personal conversation with Him, we are in our secret place with the door close. We need to lean into him and be aware of how much he loves us and keep our eyes on him and not on our problems, we need to listen for his small gentle voice and spend as much time alone with him in prays.
