As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

Christ uses each of us to do certain tasks to complete a mission. Like parts of the body we must be given a task and taught how to do it.

Christ is who we serve and the control tower of how we do it. But without hands, feet and heart the head will be limited in effective ministry. God doesn’t need us, but wants to use us for our benefit.

One of my insights is that you can’t have the head without the body and vis versa . Second we as the Body must do our part in helping the body operate and sustain.

The idea of serving and caring for one another and how much we need that. It is so important.

To submit to His headship, being my Lord and Savior by submitting to His words. Thru obedience and humility I will submit to the local church too and be a “productive” member as I contribute my God-given talent for the glory of God and as I await for His coming.
