As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

We are His Bride and he is coming for a pure and sanctified bride that loves him.
The church needs to grow an lot in preparation for that. -
when I think about this what comes to mind is the complete love that god has for us and the feeling of peace and joy that he has to offer

I always liked the saying of where the head goes the body will follow. If we allow God to lead the church, I.e. our lives, we will always go in the direction that God wants. If we try to control the head, nothing good will come from it.

The head should control the body and its movement. Sometimes, the church seams to want to move independent or without the head.
