As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

I want to be the part of the Body that God wants me to be, not what I want to be. If everyone were singers, there would be no ushers or anyone to clean the Church. We all have to find our part and work with all the other parts in harmony so God’s work could be accomplished.

In the flesh, our body response to our brain. Likewise, we should be led by Christ in all we do and say.

Great analogy, as our body follows the head, so should the church follow Christ

I truly believe that Christ is the head of the church and that we are all just parts. The problem is that to many Christians just come to Sunday service and then as soon as service is over they run out the door

The body is empowered by the Holy Spirit so that Christ can lead it; no Holy Spirit no Christ-centered leadership and direction.
