First we have to observe what we are reading and ask what do I see?
Then we have to interpret (through the Holy Spirit) and ask what does it mean?
Then apply what we read and ask what does it mean I should do? -
Observation, interpretation, application. What, why, how to apply

Observation: first you need to observe the text/scripture, looking for clues to what its general meaning is as an example, then you have in Interpretation: a deeper understanding of the text/scripture. Taking from the observations, and building on these clues, Interpretation will become more apparent. Lastly, application putting into practice.

First you must carefully observe. Then interpret your observations. Finally after your interpretation, you apply what you have learnt to your life.

I will try…. To me after reading a Bible verse my first instinct is I would want to apply it to my life. First I will have to read it deeper by observing it again then I will have to interpret it then apply to my life.
