Though this story is short and about a woman who is not even Jewish, you see that she is in the lineage of our Lord. It is interesting how books like Ruth and Ester add so much of real emotion to the actual story as well as some of the other “color” books, yet are often looked over by most readers. They are filled with heartaches, trials, and faith that honestly anyone could apply to their own lives today.
