I’ve done much the same thing in my life. Turned from God when I felt He was not there, but it was I, who had moved from God. I have to reminded from time to time, that God is all I need.

They responded by worshiping idols and in prayer and supplication to God to relieve them of their hardships. I have responded to hardship by asking God to take me through and give me the strength and wisdom needed to bear it.
