Have you ever doubted the historical accuracy or truthfulness of the Bible? Why or why not?

The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God , guided to the writers by the Holy Spirit, plus there is now so much archaelogical evidence out there proving that at least 70% of the Holy Scriptires are true and more being discovered/ revealed everyday. So no I have never doubted .

I believe because the Holy Spirit revealed Jesus to through it .Have no doubt that it is God word given to man .

I do believe that the Bible is true depending on the volume NKJV, and NIV is true a hundred percent. However as there is new volumes brought out the message may become more thinned out and the messages in scripture may be mixed. With the translation of the Bible, one would have to wonder if one can miss vital information or if there would be more information to a new volume of the Bible. With NKJV, NIV you can feel the words of God however be careful the volumes you read as one as a Christian Scholar may become more distraught.

Yes, I doubted the Bible, for a very brief time. I certainly do not now. I doubted because I was led astray by the new age genre & began following the writings and Gnostic beliefs of a well-known “psychic”. I believed all this person wrote & she denied the crucifixion & spouted “Divinci Code”-esque garbage. Thank God, I came across a CD of a sermon where the minister spoke convincingly on the crucifixion. I sobbed my eyes out & begged for forgiveness on my knees. I’ve never been more ashamed of myself. I hope that woman repents before she ends up in hell for the things she has done to lead people away from Jesus.

No I have never doubted the accuracy of the Bible or it’s truthfulness. I’ve always understood and believed to be God breathed.
