Because this lesson said prayer is action. without prayer we will miss some of Gods intended actions for us.

Prayer is the most powerful stance we can take as a believer. Pray/Praying is an action word just like faith and love are and we are going (action word) to the One Who can do something about what it is we are praying for/about. Alone I am not enough. As I pray I submit myself into the manifest presence of the King. I can do all things through Christ. He is my strength.

Prayer is the communication with God. He knows what your problems are. Sometimes, prayer brings tears to your eyes and God sees this. Then, prayer becomes meaningful as it touches your soul. There are many times, that prayer may not be answered but you have to leave it to God to help you in one way or another. Even if prayers are not answered, it doesn’t mean that he hasn’t answered you. He still hears it and stays beside you in all ways.

If you keep praying over and over, eventually it will become easier. It is true that prayer may not be answered the way you expected but but being repetitive is the key and God sees it that you are seeking his advice.

At times, when a person is in a time of desperation, when a person says that prayer is ‘not enough’ then may be trying to express the deepness of the desperation and the immediate need for action. Actually praying is the beginning of helping the person through the time of desperation.
