How does knowing that God wants us to ask help us when we come to Him?

Knowing that the gracious God of the universe actually wants us to come to him, gives us confidence that He wants to hear from us. It helps us to more deeply understand that we belong to Him and that He wants to give us good things that will strengthen our faith and show us His love towards us.

Asking is an open invitation to get to know God.

It helps because we know there is someone who loves us unconditionally listening; and not just listening but answers in ways that enrich and elevates our lives

Knowing that he cares enough to have us ask ,gives us more confidence that he will answer. Like Jesus said if we being evil know how to give good gifts onto our children, how much more will he give good things to us.
