How does knowing that God wants us to ask help us when we come to Him?

It is reassuring when you are relatively new to Christianity to know that God wants us to communicate with him through prayer – it makes us comfortable and able to make a great relationship with Gid.

It is comforting to know that the creator and supreme ruler of heaven and earth want to hear from us. Knowing this makes prayer/conversation with God more approachable.

We don’t have to think that we are bothering God with our requests, and we don’t have to be ashamed or embarrassed to ask for things. In fact, by asking Him for things, we are doing what He wants us to and we are pleasing Him.

We can approach God in prayer with confidence as He knows what is best for us within the requests we ask of Him because He is Our Father and we can always count on and trust in Him for the best outcome of our asking which may be answered in unexpected ways.
