I said that I wanted to take this course because I need to grow as a Christian. I need to know how to make my Bible study more effective so that I can share my faith with others that do not believe. I would also like to add to my current Bible study group and possibly lead the group at some point. I feel like God is telling me to do this. Overall goal: To study the Bible both academically and devotionally so that I am able to effectively share about my faith and back it up with scripture.

My identifying reasons for taking this course are to know God intimately and to be able to unequivocally share His word with unbelievers, skeptics and the deceived “lukewarmers.” I chose these because it is time in my Christian walk to stop drinking milk and move on to solid food. My overall goal for wanting to study the Bible better is to establish and sharpen my spiritual disciplines.
