I have a book by an author that I will not mention but it is a book on Christian Apologetics. It is a extremely thick book and it is a hard read but, I have been wanting to master the art of apologetics for sometime now.

Recently, I re-read John Stott’s Life in Christ, a book that examines some of the prepositions (the figure of speech used to explain relationships between words) the Bible uses to explain the depths of our relationship with Christ. Stott chose eight prepositional phrases expounded in Scripture beginning with (1) THROUGH CHRIST Our Mediator; (2) ON CHRIST our Foundation; (3) IN CHRIST our Life-giver (4) UNDER CHRIST our Lord; (5) WITH CHRIST our Secret; (6) UNTO CHRIST our Goal; (7) FOR CHRIST our Lover; and (8) LIKE CHRIST our Model. Only by being deeply rooted in Christ will I be motivated to bring Him to others. Next, I will study in depth the questions and objections that people often ask and raise about the validity of the Christian faith, beginning with lessons offered in the Our Daily Bread University so that I can be ready to give the answer for the reason of my faith, as Peter exhorts us to (I Peter 3:15).
