Of the six genres (narrative, epistle, prophetic, parable, poetry, apocalypse), which do you read most? Which do you read least? Do you have a favorite genre? If so, why do you favor it?

I prefer to read apocalyptic because that is the one which is of things to come and poetry is my least favorite

Of the six genres I read epistles most because I love the clearly articulated logic. I least engage the apocalyptic literature because of the heavy symbolism. Though, it really just depends on where the Lord leads me. I find that I really do need His leadership because otherwise it is made so painfully clear that I cannot make head or tail of His Word without Him…it just becomes a dry walk.
