What did you learn about the Sermon on the Mount and/or Matthew’s gospel that you didn’t know prior to taking this lesson?

Deleted User01/22/2022 at 12:49I cannot say I learned anything “new” about the Sermon on the Mount and/or Matthew’s gospel, but I greatly appreciate the exhortations included. The early church wanted to know how God wanted them to live, not how the leaders of the day wanted them to live. Jesus wanted, wants, His followers to live out the life according to the Sermon on the Mount in full view of the world in which they live. The question remains, “Are you going to follow Jesus or not?”
