Deleted User08/19/2021 at 11:23Out of the three steps of the inductive Bible study method; observation, interpretation, and application, I believe observation is the most challenging for me. I think this is the foundational step in it requires lots of attention to detail. If I am not careful I may miss something in this step which will mess up my interpretation. The easiest for me is application as I strive for applying God’s Word to my life daily. In order for me to properly get through the observation stage, I must slow down and read then re-read the passage.

Deleted User08/12/2021 at 09:53The most challenging may actually be the observation. It requires that I slow down and go at an easy pace in order to note what is significant. But, here I would say that being led by the Holy Spirit is key because there are many things to be noticed, but not all things that are observable may be essential to what God is portioning for my daily provision in that day. I think to rely on God for what seems to me that I am capable of doing in my own strength is the biggest challenge.
