What is your favorite prayer from God’s Word?

John 17: 1-26
Matthew 6: 5-15 -
The ‘WORD’ of GOD is so vast and extensive. I have yet to identify a favorite. But if I have to choose right now, it’s almost anything in The Book of Psalms. Particularly anyone of of David’s Prayer for: Forgiveness, Protection, ex: Psalm 3.
Psalm 3:5 “..I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. -
My favorite prayer from God’s Word is Psalm 23:4
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me .“ Thank You for being my comfort, Lord! -
I really struggle to choose a favourite prayer but I think that since i became a Christian I have used a few more than others to help me come to terms with problems in my life. My father has been suffering from cancer and whenever he has a bad period I refer to Romans 10 and Deuteronomy 31:8 – these in particular offer comfort for me as I pray that my father will be helped to be comfortable and be healthy. I have two prayers books and i read at random at least 2 prayers a day. I would say that they are all favourites but each has a time when they are more useful to us.

Thank you, Lord, for being my strength and my song in the time of trouble, and on a daily basis, I find strength in you oh Lord!!! Thank you for you are my salvation!!! Amen
