The fact that unity in the Church is provided by the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit both provides Church Leadership and equips the leader. This caused me to realize how dangerous it is to drive division and confusion in the Church or to deal with the in a critical heavy handed manner. This could be another example of sinning against the Holy Spirit.

The new insights that I have learnt about the holy spirit from this study is that he is equipping us to do God’s services by working on our Hearts to lead us to believe and do his will. And that He is totally involve in every aspect of the church and it’s leaders in the present and in the past as we read from Scriptures. That’s inspiring to know..

I have read about grieving the Holy Spirit but rereading it gave me a new perspective about guarding myself so that I do not. Where our thoughts dwell, so do our hearts. We must keep them in check. Philipians 4:8 is where the Holy Spirit wants us. Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, have any virtue and praise, think on these things.

The work of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament era. It is not a new insight, but rather a powerful reminder that the Holy Spirit has been at work from the beginning.

That the Holy Spirit is to be taken more seriously, we are warned that we are not to Grieve the Holy Spirit, with the way we live, act, our negative attitude, we need to be reminded that everything we do, effects not only those around us, but our spiritual walk with Christ, the Holy Spirit is the “Helper” as Christ said, meaning He is helping us in our walk, and that we are not to live for self, or self gain, but we live to bring honor and glory to Christ Jesus our Lord, with the Help of the Holy Spirit, through Jesus, we live for God the Father.
