What time and place would be best for you to study the Bible and pray? Why?

I’m not a morning person so I typically read and pray when everyone else is gone in the afternoon.

Early in the morning is when I have found is the best time for my Quiet Time with God. Having 2 kids and a job, once the day gets going I get busy. By the time I have other free time, it’s late in the evening and I wouldn’t be giving God my best. I would be giving God my leftovers.

I pray and talk to God all day during the day. We just moved so discovering a place and time for daily devotional has been difficult. Morning on some days and evening on the others.

In my present situation, I have set my purpose on the early morning at the dining table, before others are awake. My wife and I are staying indefinitely with my son and his family. I have no office or other place to be alone.
