Joshua’s obedience and unwavering faithfulness was his success, but it is no secret.

Joshua was obedient to the Lord; when God said to lead His people into their land, Joshua didn’t hesitate to do so. Joshua spoke about God’s faithfulness to His people and challenged Israel to live by God’s laws. Joshua was the only person that was allowed to go with Moses to Mount Sinai, and he and Caleb were the only two spies who urged Israel to trust God. So, it shows that Joshua was faithful to God and followed his laws.

Obedience, courage, uncompromised faithfulness, knowledge of God which inspired trust on Him and his power, faith on God’s promises, a vision focused on the Lord’s purposes instead on what the previous inhabitants and neighbours of the Promised Land had to offer.
Resistant to temptation, relentless determination for holiness and purity might have been as well.

It can be applied on the same way today, believing God is still the same at this age, and no temptation or anything this world has to offer would be enough or valuable enough to forsake the Lord’s calling and purpose for ourselves.

I think it’s about Joshua’s obedience to God. It’s very vital especially nowadays to obey what God is telling to us through His word. Always remember that if you obey God, He will surely bless you.

Joshua chose to serve the Lord. Serving the Lord can happen anywhere, at home, in an office, on a job site. Prayer, reading God’s word helps us to take our knowledge and faith in God and apply it to where we live and work.
