What Bible translation do you use and why? Do you use a different translation for devotional reading than you do for Bible study? What translation will you use for this course?

I used the Authorized King James Bible because that is what I grew up using and I am used to it. Sometimes I will use the New King James Bible to help me if I have any question about the words used in the Authorized version. I will be using the Authorized King James and the New King James versions.

I use the HCSB. This is the only one I and will use for this course.

I use the NIV primarily and compare with kjv, GNB
I have always found the NIV easier to use -
I typically use the NIV. I have in the past used the NKJV, the Living Bible and the HCSB which I believe I will start using again with the NIV. Those will be the ones I use for this course.

I use several different translations but I mainly use the NIV and the Living Bible
Both have notes and they expand on each other
