Why is it imperative that Christian educators have a Christian philosophy of education?

Deleted User03/16/2022 at 18:27It’s imperative because we need to be able to integrate the Bible into our daily lessons. We need to lead our students to the truth. Academics are great, but salvation is the most important.

Deleted User03/14/2022 at 22:35Having a Christian philosophy of education means that we are not only teaching our students content, but how to apply God’s truths in every content. We are able to poor into and guide our students to be filled with the Spirit and know Christ personally.

Deleted User03/13/2022 at 22:51If Christian educators don’t have a Christian philosophy of education, I don’t believe we can properly shepherd our students, pointing them to Christ and to God’s word at every turn. We need to have at the forefront of our teaching the imperative that our students must be prepared to answer every question with confidence in God’s word and character.

Deleted User03/10/2022 at 09:25As Christian educators we should fist and foremost be Christians. We are to be “Christ Like” in everything that we do. This includes teaching our classes. We are to be examples of what Christians should be to the next generation.

Deleted User02/24/2022 at 18:44Having a Christian philosophy of education is imperative because we have a significant role that we play in raising up a generation to know and love God. I feel like many kids get sent to Christian schools to be “fixed’. We may be their only glimpse into the Christian life. We have to present out faith and Lord in a way that makes them want to hop on board. We have big shoes to fill.
