Why is true prayer about more than just words?

True prayer is about relationship. God cares about what we think and how we feel. He wants us to interact with Him.

True prayer is deepening my relationship with God, my father

True prayer is about relationship between God and us.

Because God sees my heart and sometimes I just sit in his presence at times feeling a desire or sadness and I just know he hears it and it says he catches my tears and keeps them and that brings me comfort so for me true prayer is way more than just words but being in his presence.

It comes from our heart as we open up to God.
