Deleted User07/04/2021 at 11:48I have read the gospel accounts many times, the book of Acts a few times, the epistles and Revelation once. I have listened to a significant amount of teaching on the New Testament. And I have spent one year focused in the gospels using Lectio Divina.

Deleted User06/17/2021 at 09:09I have read the NT, but never in order from beginning to end. While I have heard/read all of the books, I do not have a distinct understanding of specific books. I don’t feel I have an overall understanding of themes and historical background of individual books.

Deleted User06/18/2021 at 18:25It is a necessity to understand the way the New Testament fits together, whether in a group or individual study. For an example, understanding the way the Old and New Testament work together to tell a complete story is vital. Otherwise, we are studying an incomplete story.
By understanding how the New Testament is written, we are able to use the Bible in all aspects of our life and what our needs are at any particular time. -
