We can’t do this on our own strength. We all have sin that has to be removed only by the blood of Jesus.

I cannot do all things with my strength, but only “through Christ who strengthens me.” I am human and a sinner. I need Jesus’s strength to make it through this life; he constantly brings me back to Him when I am struggling.

I could not walk through this Christian life without the guidance of the Holy Spirit

Being Christ-like goes against our human nature and against societal norms. It’s impossible to do without relying on Jesus. He has helped me personally by offering grace and forgiveness over and over as I continually learn the same lessons over and over.

We have no strength apart from God. For in Him, we live and move and have our being.

I use God’s Word and try to compare what Scripture says to what it being told.

I look to God’s Word to help me respond to teachings that contradict Scripture. I also bring it up in my devotional group so that we can all search in God’s word for the answer.

I filter all of my questions through Scripture, and if I’m confused I trust God for the outcome

Compare it with Scripture. If it doesn’t align, it’s false. That’s exactly what Jesus did in the desert.

Search the Scriptures for the truth.

If we don’t live as Christ has taught us, we’re not following the commands of God.

Sin makes it difficult to live in fellowship with God. If we do not live in fellowship with God, we are not genuinely Christian.

Being a Christian is to be Christ-like. We should all strive to be more like Him, which means living in the way He modeled for us.

Living the way Christ has taught us to live is a way to confidently assert that we are genuine Christians. By living this way, we draw others to Him.
