Overview and Objectives

Lesson Overview

The New Testament challenges each of us to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).
In Lesson Five, we will provide you with simple tools for sharing your faith with unbelievers. Suggestions on preparing a personal testimony will be supplemented by a gospel presentation called “The Romans Road.” Special attention will also be given to listening as you dialogue with those who have expressed spiritual interest.

Lesson Objectives

When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:

  • Share how you came to Christ through a simple personal testimony.
  • Use “The Romans Road” to clearly explain the gospel to someone.
  • Effectively dialogue with someone who has expressed spiritual interest.
Personal Reflection

As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
As you thought through how you came to faith in Christ, what new insights did you gain about sharing your faith with others?
