Can you think of a time when you were called upon to give a defense of your faith in Christ? If so, briefly explain.

Had a co-worker ask me why does God allow bad things to happen to good people and good things happen to bad people. I answered the best i knew how, but I doubt it was a very satisfactory answer for my friend. This is why I am taking this course so that in the future when someone asks me a question like that I am better prepared to give an answer that may open a door for me to further discuss God and Jesus with them.

Yes – in college. I was attacked not for just being a christian but for being Catholic. It was not scary but i actually felt empowered by the Holy Spirit to defend not only the Catholic worship but the Gospel.

On twitter, I was asked to provide a proof of the existence of God, which I believe that I did, pointing to the present day existence of the Jew, explaining that the history of the Jewish people/nation uniquely reveals the existence of God.

I was in college and had to defend why I believed what I believed. I can remember feeling inadequate because I honestly thought most people believed the way I did! It was a humbling experience that has stayed with me for 30 years and the Lord used that to teach me to KNOW why I know what I believe.
