Have you ever been treated unfairly? Why do you think people across the world and in every generation have experienced the reality of being treated unfairly?

Yes, I’ve been treated unfairly on many occasions. No one is exempt from being treated unfairly in this world cursed by sin. Sin is alive and rampant and so everything that is created by or through sin will hold the world captive in unfairness, pain, suffering until the return of the Most High.

There are days when I swing from thinking that I have been treated unfairly to thinking that if I got what I really deserve in this life the picture would not be very pretty. We tend to blame God for everything good and evil which is a very one-sided way of looking at things. One of my favorite scriptures relates Jesus telling his disciples that He had bee “treated unfairly” or persecuted and if they followed Him they would be persecuted as well. I have to cling to Romans 8:28 and know that all things will work out for the good because He has called my name. Those who commit horrible acts or those who just seem to enjoy mistreating others will have to stand before the Judgement Seat too and as Jesus-followers, we can’t change them all but we can try by living life as Christ calls us to live.
It may be too late to ‘turn the Titanic’ but we can save those in the water by dragging on soul into the lifeboat at a time. -
God never promised fairness. Fairness is a concept that humanity has developed based on our perceptions and understanding which are limited compared to God’s. He will someday restore Everything back to his original design but until then we are left in a broken world dealing with sin, lust, greed, and unfairness

Absolutely everyone has. This reality comes from the sinful nature of fallen man, via greed, lust, anger, pride, etc…
