The genre I read the most of the six will be the narrative.
I read the poetry the least.
My favorite genre will be the epistle.
I favour the epistle because it give me the specific general information needed to know about the book to interpret it.

I read the most epistles, parable
I read the least prophetic, poetry and the apocalypse

the epistles are my favorite genre because the authors were lead by the Holy Spirit and not be man.

You know, this is a very good question. I have never really thought about the six genres of the Bible. What I do like to read are the historical books, the Psalms, Proverbs, the Gospels and the Epistles.
I like the Epistles, they encourage me and guide me on how I should live. I don’t read the Apocalyptic as much as I should. Not understanding the imagery may be one of the reasons.

I probably read narrative and epistle the most since I love history and stories and enjoy the teachings in Paul’s epistles the most. Least is poetry although I admit to my demise as there is much much wisdom to be fond I the Psalms and Proverbs. The intensity of the prophets, especially Ezekiel is fascinating.
