I agree that only a believer is able to truly love wisdom. Since wisdom comes from God, who created in us an innate desire and thirst for wisdom, then believers will go to the source of all wisdom and truth. Someone can say they love wisdom, but is that because they profess that God is the creator and giver of wisdom, or is it because they can attain it based on their own merit without acknowledging God? Truly loving wisdom would also have to go hand in hand with truly loving God. If you love wisdom and profess as an Atheist who believes nothing, then their perspective is both jaded and narrow. Loving wisdom would mean needing to go beyond what they truly believe, feel or think to explore other possibilities. Those willing to seek after true wisdom will find it. God will lead them to it because their heart is open.

I agree. God’s word is our foundation. It says that if we lack wisdom, we should seek God and he will give it to us. As believers, we are always wanting to know more so we can truly understand and love the creator of the universe.

I do agree. I think that without the Spirit of God illuminating your thinking, you are seeing things through a veil, and never understanding the whole picture. Maybe a non believer loving knowledge is actually their pursuit of the God of knowledge and they don’t even know it.

yes because we can appreciate the fundamentals of why God has created the knowledge, what it’s intended to be used for, and distinguish when it’s intended to be utilized based on Biblical values.

Since the Bible is the foundation or bedrock of knowledge, only a believer can recognize and appreciate the true nature of wisdom. He created our minds to think and reason and recognize his work around us.
