I agree. She also mentioned Psalm 111, where “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” As a believer, I love God; therefore, I eagerly and pleasantly study His word. Having knowledge of the word of God and by applying His teachings into my life I am acquiring wisdom. That is an honor and a beautiful thing!

I am inclined to agree. Today I had a conversation with two 6 year olds. I asked them about their breaks and about the return to school tomorrow. They both were in agreement that school is a hated part of their lives. I sat with them for a bit and we talked about how knowledge and wisdom doesn’t really come from teachers, but it is a gift from God. We talked about walking this world as followers of Jesus and following means walking the same path. I marked Luke 2:52 in their bibles. I had both in Sunday School last year. That negativity isn’t really a sentiment expressed by six year olds in my school. It is often echoed by our public school friends. It makes me realize how different learning is for students who are constantly reminded that the process of learning is also one of God’s blessings.

I agree with the lecturer’s statement. To truly understand wisdom we need to have a good relationship with the father of all wisdom who is God. When we have a good relationship with God, then we will truly love wisdom and want to incorporate it in everything we do.

True wisdom is so connected to God and His truth that without that relationship only the content of wisdom can be known. Believers are able to experience the process and context of wisdom.

Yes, I agree. The Bible says true wisdom comes from God, therefore it is only from Him that true wisdom can be passed down.
