What time and place would be best for you to study the Bible and pray? Why?

Early in the morning is best for me.

I need to do it in the morning after I take my daughter to school. I am retired now, and that is the perfect time.

The best time for me is the afternoon during lunch and it is usually in my office. I have some time during my lunch break.

I study the Bible first thing in the morning. Throughout the day I find myself reaching out to God and saying quick prayers, praying for others and just reminding myself of his presence in my life.

I started a new schedule about a week ago and my Bible study time is in the afternoons right now. I start out in the same room with my granddaughter during her reading time. I think this benefits her because she sees me practicing what I preach about reading the Bible. When she is finished I move to my room. This is a good time of day because there are fewer distractions. So far it has proven to be a good plan. I’ve been able to spend time in the Word and with Him every day this week.
