Deleted User01/20/2022 at 17:00One of the main reasons for me is that all through the Old Testament prophecies are made and in the New Testament they are fulfilled. Understanding of both are needed for the story to be complete.

Deleted User01/19/2022 at 10:34The Old Testament is the foundation of the Bible, and without it, our understanding of the New Testament would be weakened. We wouldn’t see God’s earlier relationships with people and the prophecies of Jesus Christ coming to save us.
