Overview and Objectives

This is the fourth lesson in a five-part course that is designed to help you become an effective leader for Christ. In this lesson, Kenneth Ulmer encourages you to complete your God-given mission.

When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:

• Explain the nature of God’s call to ministry.
• Identify and resolve to complete the mission God has assigned to you.
• Describe how your spiritual condition affects your leadership.
• Demonstrate your understanding of the lesson content by writing down key insights you plan to implement.

As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
According to Ken, glorifying God means completing your assignments or mission. Reflect on your assignment. How are you feeling? Tired? Energized? Ready to quit? List and explain several adjectives that describe how you are feeling about your mission.
