Deleted User03/13/2022 at 19:11He is a live Person of the God Head. He is the source to live a life free from the Power of Sin and to accomplish good works for God’s glory. He is an advocate working with me when I share the truth of the Gospel. He is the strength/power to life a progressively sanctified life. As much as I need to work of Christ to be save I need the work of the Holy Spirit to live a Sanctified life. I NEED the Holy Spirit.

Deleted User03/03/2022 at 14:41The natural world reveals Gods Power, majesty, and wisdom, the bible reveals his plan of personal, eternal salvation. Ive learned more about how the holy spirit produces Christian character and godliness in the life of the believer. Truly an amazing gift of freedom when we surrender

Deleted User03/01/2022 at 21:19I really liked how this lesson spelled out who the Holy Spirit is and everything it does for believers, nonbelievers and the church.

Deleted User02/28/2022 at 21:08Since He is holy, He must be met on “holy ground”. This is why people who have not separated themselves from sin lack the awareness of His presence.

Deleted User03/13/2022 at 19:10I thought of the Holy Spirit as some mysterious force and struggled to understand His function. I think early on I thought of Him as the “Spirit of 76”, a will of God more than a Person of the God Head. God the Father was real in the back corner of Heaven, Jesus was the closest I could get to knowing God, and the Holy Spirit was a ghost that did God’s bidding.

Deleted User03/03/2022 at 14:43Honestly it was very similar, this course has helped me put into words what i could not before. These well reasoned statements of doctrine are going to help me share gods word with other believers. The questions are ones that come up often and the answers and perfect for those hard questions. The holy spirit is God in us

Deleted User02/24/2022 at 13:03Prior to taking this course, I thought the Holy Spirit was only active in our lives after Pentecost. I didn’t know He was present throughout the Old Testament as well.

Deleted User01/28/2022 at 20:44Prior to taking this course my understanding of the holy spirit was that he is the third person in the Trinity . He is God’s helper indwelling in us and helping us to believe, love and trust God.

Deleted User03/13/2022 at 19:12God breathed out the words in Scripture through those who put pen to parchment. The thoughts and exact words were not those of the writers but of God yet He did this through the men who wrote and used their experiences, languages, and education level such that they understood what they were writing while not knowing it was God guiding their thoughts. God wrote through the instrument of men.

Deleted User03/03/2022 at 14:35God divinely inspired the bible to help reveal part of his glory to people. We can clearly see him in nature, but its important for people to understand Gods will and purpose for us in this life. God was gracious enough to give us his word to help us expand on him. Jesus upheld and referenced the scripture so that is enough of a reason to put store in the old testament

Deleted User02/28/2022 at 21:04The Bible in its entirety was written be men who were inspired by God. The Scripture is God breathed, thus it is without error of any kind.

Deleted User02/24/2022 at 12:51My understanding of the inspiration of the Bible has always come from the Scripture itself in that all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16).
I have always taken that at face value and never given it any more thought than that.
