This course examines the foundational theology of the Old Testament as applied to the New Testament and the church. It also identifies the focal point for the Old and New Testaments and discusses the continuity and discontinuity between the Testaments concerning: saving faith, the people of God, the Law, worship, atonement, the kingdom of God, the Messiah, and the New Covenant. Throughout the course, Kaiser examines how Old Testament theology is vital to contemporary Christian living.

Wonderful course and the lecturer was great! I really enjoyed this course and learned many great truths about the Messianic line running from Genesis to the New Testament.

The course was well done and the Professor highly competent. The fact that it was audio only with no visual or transcript support made it more difficult. It was obvious that it was a classroom situation and he wrote on a white board continually. Without seeing and trying to maintain note taking without constantly stopping and start the audio was cumbersome and probably contributed to a loss in fuller understanding of the material.
