Specifically that they would either put their trust in God, or that they would put their trust in either themselves or some sort of idolatry. Now it easy for each person in this class to say that they would always and will always put their trust in God, but have they had to deal with any of the hardships that these people had to deal with? I think not. Actually most people even now are not faced with anywhere near the hardships that faced Israel during this time, yet they still do not put their trust in God. I for so many years ran from God, until about a year ago when I was slapped i the face by Him and was told that He had waited long enough. Now looking back, even though I did not trust Him, He was still the only one that got me through all of my hardships. I put my trust in Him because I know that I would not be here today. God never breaks His covenants.

When I have experienced hardship in my life, I have turned to God. He is my Rock. -
