God created sexual relationships as a part of the creation of male and female images of God. God is never embarrassed about how and why people were created. Genesis teaches that the purpose of the sexual relationship in all created things, but especially male and female is procreation; “be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.” Dr Buzzell’s opinions also include (based on 1 Corinthians 7) “that a healthy sexual relationship in a marriage helps prevent people from going outside of their marriage to find fulfillment.” God created the sexual relationship as something to be enjoyed as a part of the marriage relationship.
