Lesson Overview
Lesson Four surveys the four historical eras of Old Testament history and then focuses on the Beginnings era. Creation, the exodus, Moses and God’s Law, and Israel’s wilderness wanderings are introduced in the books we study in this lesson.
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:
- List the first, second, and third beginnings found within Old Testament history.
- Describe what happened to the Israelites between the end of the book of Genesis and the beginning of Exodus.
- Identify the miraculous events that occurred as the Israelites exit Egypt and begin their wanderings in the desert.
