Lesson Overview
The goal of this lesson is to help the student understand that true prayer is about more than simply the words we use. It will equip the student to talk to God in ways that are natural and unforced and to go deeper in learning how to pray according to God’s Word.
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:
- Comprehend that effective prayer isn’t about getting our words just right.
- Have a deeper understanding of how to pray God’s Word, including Scripture’s prayers.
- Gain insight into the relational aspects of prayer.
Personal Reflection
As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
How do you “turn Scripture into prayer” when you spend time with God?
