Deleted User03/17/2022 at 12:43As I spend time with God, I notice more and more of His attributes. I see the beauty of Him more clearly, His peace and comfort become more tangible.

Deleted User02/23/2022 at 16:29Dr. Banks’ statement rang true for me. Before I lived prayerfully, I could not forgive others. I did not have true peace. I was not secure but needed others validation. But when I began to live prayerfully, I found I could forgive and pray for others who had hurt me and some who still did. I found what it meant to be truly at peace in my body, mind, heart and soul with God’s peace, not the worlds. Now I no longer need people or men to validate me or love me to feel loved and whole for I know that the one who matters to my eternity loves me and holds me in his arms. So he has took me too places and has shown me things otherwise I would never have seen or felt in my life.

Deleted User01/09/2022 at 19:20God will take us to all kind of places and show us things and people that we would miss without Him. When we live prayerfully in the moment with God, we are not distracted by everything and everyone around us. We are actually in His presence.

When we live prayfully in the moment with God, as we pray and talk with him daily we will see and experience his greatness, love, peace, strength, goodness and he will also take us places and show us things that we otherwise would not see. Like God three Atrributes; 1. God’s Omniscience- all knowing. 2. God’s Omnipresence – He is every where. 3. God’s Omnipotence there’s no limit to his power. The Two examples from scriptures referred to in this lesson also reinforces why we should live prayfully in the moment with Him. God is able to keep us from stumbling and present us before his glorious present without fault and with great joy (1:24) and
God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work with us (Ephesians 3:20.

Deleted User02/23/2022 at 16:32I like to think that when I pray that God sits right beside me like a physical friend when I talk to Him and I sit with Him as if to wait and hear what He has to say to me as well when I ask a question or make a request. I do not audibly hear Him but sometimes just sit with Him and wait in His presence knowing He is with me and I with Him. So to me that is no only talking to Him but being with Him.

Deleted User01/09/2022 at 19:25When we are in prayer, we are not just talking to Him. For a relationship to truly develop, we do talk, but we also listen, rest in and lean on Him.. Being fully aware of His presence.

Deleted User12/31/2021 at 15:28When we Pray we are not only talking with God we are having a relational private and personal conversation with Him, we are in our secret place with the door close. We need to lean into him and be aware of how much he loves us and keep our eyes on him and not on our problems, we need to listen for his small gentle voice and spend as much time alone with him in prays.

Deleted User02/23/2022 at 16:34Because I think He just loves to know that we are there with Him and love being with Him and talk to Him. To me it is a sign of respect for all He has done for us, all He will do for us and all He is doing for us and staying connected to Him in prayer keeps us strong in Him.

Deleted User12/31/2021 at 15:14God Wants to live lives that are connscted to Him through prayer because it is the only way we can grow in a relationship with him. He indwells in us as his Holy Spirit and we need to stay close to him for stength and to learn from him by focusing on his promises instead of our problems. God want to meet us where we are so we can spent time worshipping, praising and thanking Him for who he is.
