True prayer is about relationship. God cares about what we think and how we feel. He wants us to interact with Him.

Because God sees my heart and sometimes I just sit in his presence at times feeling a desire or sadness and I just know he hears it and it says he catches my tears and keeps them and that brings me comfort so for me true prayer is way more than just words but being in his presence.

It comes from our heart as we open up to God.

Prayer is more than simply about words. Ultimately, it is about our relationship with God.

True prayer is more than just words because sometimes our ability to articulate words to describe our worship or need simply isn’t enough. Some of my most heartfelt prayers couldn’t be put into words or at least the depth of them couldn’t be. That’s when I think about the scripture saying the Holy Spirit is making intersession for us with groanings to deep for words.

True prayer is about more than just words because God knows everything, he knows our hearts and want us to say what is in our hearts, so we have to trust, believe, be real and honest with God so he can reveal himself to us.

True prayer helps strengthen the relationship we have with God. It is not just about the words that we speak, but that we are making a true connection with our heavenly father.

Because true prayer is about your relationship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. True prayer comes from the heart and so are not just so many spoken words. They have meaning for you and for God.

True prayer is more than just words, it’s what we’re feeling in our hearts at any given time. At times, we may feel so overwhelmed that words won’t come. But that’s okay, because God knows what our moans and groans are trying to say. Making ourselves available to God is what matters. Our desire to spend quality time with Him will benefit us.

True prayer is about relationship and not about words. God cares about what we think and feel and He wants for us to express that to Him. He is a loving and kind Father and He deals with matters of the heart. We can say what we want and sometimes what we say does not match whats in our heart. God teaches us to be in tune with what is going on in our hearts and to be able to express these things with our mouths. It’s about being honest with ourselves about ourselves and being honest with God about ourselves.

When we are praying, we are talking with God and worshiping Him. It is like a private conversation from the heart. Jesus has already atoned for our sins once and for all (Hebrews 10:10), and we can approach the throne of grace boldly on the merit of Christ’s sacrifice (Hebrews 4:15–16), not because of our “many words” (Matthew 6:7).

I think that God wants us to communicate honestly and openly with him. In order to do that we cannot just use words – we really need to build a connection with him.

Anyone can read mere words and not be sincere. The Lord wants more from us than words!

When we interact with people, words are not the whole story. There are facial expressions, tone, and body language that can take a phrase like “I love you” and turn it into something that is close to the opposite. I think the same is true with God. What we say is not as important as how we say it- the words are overshadowed by the tone of our heart and our mind.

It is about relationship and I must remember that just because l communicate with God on a Faith dimension which differs from human interaction that we are still in relationship and it is simply in a Spirit realm and the most significant relationship l have.
