Deleted User03/21/2022 at 10:13Prayer is the most important action we can take in someone’s behalf. Not only can it bring about an answer to the prayer but can also be the turning point in someone’s life who doesn’t know God. I have three friends for whom I pray for salvation. That is all I can do for them because I can’t force them to accept Jesus. It can be disheartening to pray for someone’s salvation when it looks like nothing is happening, but even if they don’t get saved, at the end I will know that if they don’t end up in heaven, I did care enough for them to pray.

What is the difference between seeking God’s face and seeking His hand?

Deleted User03/21/2022 at 09:50Seeking God’s hand is focusing on what He can do for us. Seeking his face focuses on our relationship with Him and how we can get to know Him and becoming one with Him.

Seeking God’s hand comes after Seeking His face, as it is the guidance that comes from the relationship we have with him -

Deleted User03/06/2022 at 07:46Seeking God’s Face is praying to God to get to know Him and communicating with Him to have an intimate relationship with Him. Seeking God’s Hand is praying to God to receive blessings from Him. Both are good but make sure to seek His Face more often than You seek His Hand.

Deleted User03/21/2022 at 09:58God actually wants to hear from us. Scripture points our God answers prayer “because you prayed” He will answer. This seems to indicate that if we don’t pray, we will miss out on what God has for us. I think of the greatest prayer of all that we can offer…the request for forgiveness from our sins and to accept Jesus’ gift of salvation. We will lose the greatest gift of all when we refuse to pray that prayer. I also loved how Scripture records David’s prayer rejoicing because God bent down to hear his prayer…like a father bends down to show interest I what his child has to say. Its a beautiful picture of God as Father.

Deleted User03/06/2022 at 07:42Prayer is a privilege and an invitation from God. It’s not only important to me, it’s important to God too. God wants a relationship with me. I am not complete without that relationship with God. I need God to survive. I can’t successfully do things on my own. I am weak and God is strong. I am strong in God and in God alone. Jesus should be my Everything. I exist because of Him. He is my Creator.
